What tastier way to pay homage to your favorite female this month than with a fine bottle of wine or spirits? Women are paving the way for new generations in what was once a male-dominated industry. Raise a glass to these brands and the fearless females behind them!

Avaline

A collaboration between Katherine Power and Cameron Diaz, the dynamic duo behind Avaline makes clean, delicious wines with organic grapes. Katherine’s favorite, Avaline Rosé, comes from Provence and features notes of melon and zest. Cameron’s favorite, Avaline Red, is also a French wine, with hints of cherry and a touch of spice.

Throughout the month of March, Avaline is donating a portion of all sales to the Lift Collective, an advocacy organization that promotes diversity and equality in the wine industry.

Shall I compare French Blue Wine to a summer’s day? Absolutely! (©French Blue Wine)

French Blue Wine

The essence of the French countryside is captured effortlessly in French Blue Wine. Winemaker Stephanie Rivin teamed up with C. Mondavi & Family to create these light, vibrant wines to celebrate joie de vivre—the joy of life!

The pale pink Bordeaux Rosé is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and is perfect for a spring day; it has a bouquet of summer flowers and berries, with flavors of strawberries and citrus. The clean, crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a 100 percent varietal with a bouquet of gooseberry and herb and flavors of kiwi, peach and bright citrus.

Volley Tequila Seltzer

After realizing that the “natural flavors” listed on almost every food and drink label did not actually come from nature (but rather a laboratory), Camila Soriano and her husband, Christopher Wirth were inspired to do something. They set out to develop the first tequila seltzer made with only three clean ingredients: 100 percent blue agave tequila, sparkling water and organic juice, and Volley was born.

Sustainability and conservation are also near and dear to Camila’s heart, and her passion is at the forefront of Volley’s mission to protect and take care of the planet. The brand has partnered with Leave No Trace to give all people the resources to make a difference.
