What: Get a snapshot of what being an Elite is all about. They eat dessert for supper, drink coffee after 5 pm, and know how to have a fun time. A.C. Daniel will be showing not only his art, but teaching us some basic sketching techniques. Then Will McCranie will perform live (and if you’re lucky, take a few song requests). And per usual, we’ll have the place all to ourselves!
Where: Café Dulce [3118 Washington Road Augusta, GA 30907]
When: Monday, May 22nd from 7-9 pm

Café Dulce
Opened in 2022, Café Dulce is the first coffee and custard shop in Augusta, Georgia. Owners Daniel, Bill, and Asher sought not only to introduce two gourmet brands into the Augusta market, but to provide a gathering space for families and friends as well as career and training opportunities through employment with the cafe. The space, encompassing two floors and a drive-thru, was designed from scratch to accommodate everyone from families to study groups.
A.C. Daniel
Artist (of sketch, skin, and more), artisan, and activist. A.C. can be found heralding a message of conservation and environmentalism one moment and teaching at a Senior Living home the next. With a smile that lights up any room, A.C. is expert with the pencil, pen, brush, and tattoo needle. The embodiment of art as a person.

Will McCranie

Augusta’s prodigal son has returned after a nearly 8 year stint of gigging, touring, writing & recording with New York City as his home base. During his time in The Big Apple, McCranie averaged well over 100 live performances a year (playing shows with the likes of Goo Goo Dolls, G. Love & Special Sauce, Colbie Caillat, Gin Blossoms, Tonic, Big Something, Kevn Kinney, Angie Aparo & Michael Tolcher along the way), studied guitar under Jamie McLean (Jamie McLean Band/ Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Brendan Bayliss & Jake Cinninger of Umphrey’s McGee & Jon “Barber” Gutwillig (The Disco Biscuits), released 3 EP’s and a full length LP under his own name, played on nearly a dozen releases with other artists, recorded/released a song a week for over a year on his 52/52 PROJECT, signed a sync/licensing deal with Fieldhouse Music/BMG, and he was voted Augusta Magazine’s “Best Male Vocalist” in 2013 and 2021 and is a two time recipient of the Lokal Loudness Awards “Favorite Solo Artist”.
