A Wedding at Recoleta Ranch

“I’m from Fort Worth, so getting married at my husband’s family ranch in Edgefield, which has a great southwestern feel, was incredibly special,” Elizabeth said.

  • Admittedly, Elizabeth has an obsession with Mexico. Raised in Texas, she was exposed to the Mexican culture every summer on family trips there. Subtle touches, including Lev’s suspenders, pay tribute to the culture she adores.
  • The first year the couple dated, Lev lived in New Orleans. The 12-piece traditional New Orleans style brass band, Big Blast and the Party Masters, played big band tunes such as “When the Saints Go Marching In” in true street marching band fashion as the couple and their guests moved from the ceremony to the reception.
  • The bride also adores fresh Mexican food. Tastefully Yours incorporated those flavors in a menu around the couple’s favorite dishes.

A Surreal Stage

Ask any of the talented young Women who have been fortunate enough to earn an invitation to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) what it was like to step into that first tee box at one of the most revered golf courses on the planet, and one word repeatedly rises to the top — “surreal.”
