Calling all foodies! You can help support local Atlanta-area restaurants while expanding your palate at Cobb Foodie Week, from September 11-18.

This county on the northwest edge of Atlanta is Georgia’s third-most populous county and home to cities such as Marietta, Smyrna and Kennesaw. No wonder, then, the many restaurants found here represent diverse world cultures.

“No matter what your taste, the culinary scene in Cobb has something for everyone,” says Holly Quinlan, president and CEO at Cobb Travel & Tourism. “From upscale steakhouses to cozy, family-owned restaurants, dining in Cobb continues to make our community a unique destination for both residents and visitors.”

Restaurateurs will feature discounts, free menu items and more during foodie week. Among the 40-plus participating eateries are Big Shanty Smokehouse, Henry’s Louisiana Grill, Marlow’s Tavern, Old Vinings Inn, Taqueria Tsunami, The Poke Company, Southern Baked Pie Company and Zucca Bar & Pizzeria.

Foodies can also participate in the Cobb Foodie Contest, now through September 18. Dine at one of the participating restaurants, then upload your photos and reviews to social media for the chance to be named 2021’s Cobb Foodie Critic, which comes with a $200 Cobb County dining tab and inclusion in a Cobb County Travel & Tourism website feature.

For more information and a full list of participating restaurants and their deals, visit Cobb Travel & Tourism.
