Have your wedding plans been upended by COVID-19? To celebrate front-line workers who’ve had to put their dreams on hold during the tumultuous year that was 2020, Bear Lake Reserve and the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority are giving away a dream wedding to one lucky couple in a nationwide contest.

The contest for this all-inclusive wedding package runs through April 30, 2021. Valued at up to $40,600, the fairy tale mountain wedding package includes catering, décor and entertainment. It will be awarded to one front-line worker and her fiancé (from the continental United States) whose wedding plans were disrupted due to COVID-19.

The wedding venue: a real-life castle! Castle Ladyhawke is nestled inside the Bear Lake Reserve mountain resort. This secluded spot boasts some of the most scenic, awe-inspiring vistas in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just think of the amazing wedding photos!

What would a wedding in the mountains mean to you? That’s one of the questions you’ll answer in the contest. (©Sasser Visuals)

Wedding details must be approved by Aug. 9, 2021 and the wedding must be held on Nov. 4, 2021. View the complete contest rules, and follow these steps to enter:

STEP 1

Create a video of up to one minute in length with your fiancé and introduce yourselves—what are your names, where are you from, how did you meet?
