Find Valentine’s Day Inspiration in This Family-Friendly Cookie Kit and Cupcake Recipe

Valentine’s Day doesn’t just have to be about couples. Share the love with your entire family with One Potato‘s easy, organic cookie kit that has all the ingredients you need—even the cookie cutters.

Designed to encourage kids to help with meal preparation, One Potato’s creative kit includes three rolls of homemade sugar cookie dough (each roll makes six cookies), a sprinkle container with dye-free sprinkles and two heart-shaped cookie cutters.

It’s priced at $35 for existing customers, but new customers can get this kit for free! But act quickly, the kit is only available for order through February 3.

A subscription-based service, One Potato lets you create a customized plan depending on your family size and how often you want to cook. The organic ingredients, which come pre-measured and pre-chopped, are available in gluten-free, vegetarian and nut-free meals.

Red Beet Cupcakes (makes 14)

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 large beet, roasted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Beet Cream Cheese Frosting:

1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup beet puree
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift the first four ingredients into a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet and combine. Pour about 1/3 cup into lined muffin tins and bake for 25 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.

Place all the ingredients for the frosting in a mixer and beat on medium to high speed until fluffy. Spread on cupcakes.
