Even though the national coffee chains have already released their autumn drinks, we’re celebrating the first day of fall (September 22) with a look at some new products coffee lovers won’t want to miss out on.
BOUTIQUE BLENDS
Coperaco Coffee was brought to life by a passion for working the land and mixing together the world’s best flavors. Founder Johan Pesenti left his corporate job to discover his true calling in Nicaragua; the boutique coffee purveyor now produces three tons of coffee per day and operates 22 cafes in three countries (including one in Harrison, New Jersey), and runs a 20,000-square-foot roasting plant in Brooklyn.

Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. has all the treats but none of the tricks. Its Pumpkin Spice bursts with cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and pumpkin flavors, but with no sugar, nuts or nut derivatives—it’s sugar-free, fat-free and gluten-free. In all, the brand has more than 20 flavors available for purchase, but its special fall blend is only available through mid-November. Act now for free shipping on all orders through September 30.

CRAZY ABOUT K-CUPS
Fall brings with it great new flavors in K-Cup pods. One inspired new creation is The Original Donut Shop’s One Step Latte, which allows you to get that barista-brewed flavor from the comfort of your very own Keurig. Dark roast coffee and real milk comes in one self-contained pod, so there’s no need to add creamer. Available in vanilla latte, caramel latte and mocha latte.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters celebrates fall with its Maple Pecan and Pumpkin Spice K-Cup pods. The rich taste and aroma of the Maple Pecan makes for a must-have fall comfort; the Pumpkin Spice is one of the best such flavors we’ve tasted.

The hardcore coffee enthusiast will want to invest in MistoBox, which currently features 605 coffees from 52 artisan roasters. Take a quiz to uncover your flavor profile—it’s similar to building your Netflix queue. You can also learn more about the roasters and how to brew coffee from not one but six brewing guides. Learn about your preferences, and try something new. Prices vary by personal and gift subscriptions.

AN UPCYCLED TRAVEL MUG
Finally, there’s a great use for single-use coffee cups that litter wastebaskets everywhere—the Circular travel mug. It’s already available in the United Kingdom, and recently partnered with Starbucks to reduce waste. Circular is 100 percent leak proof, can be sipped from at any angle, is dishwasher safe and lasts up to 10 years. Check out the Kickstarter campaign, which is already fully funded; estimated delivery date on the mugs is November 2020.
