Summer Just Got More Entertaining with Fun Wine

By Jennifer McKee

Ah, summer. While we welcome the sun’s bright ways, we have to deal with, well, the sun’s bright rays. Having a cool beverage close at hand is a must. Enter Fun Wine.

Launched last year at Miami’s Art Basel, the low-alcohol concoction comes in three delicious flavors: Coconut Chardonnay, Strawberry Rose Moscato and Red Sangria.

The brand packaging will also put a smile on your face. Created by urban artist Miguel Parades, the bottles depict quintessential Miami scenes, such as tropical flowers, birds and Flamenco dancers, with anime touches thrown in for good measure.

Fun Wine tastes great plain, chilled or over ice, but why not punch it up with these cocktail recipes:

Chocolate Strawberry Negroni
1 oz. Aperol Spritz or Campari
Dash Chocolate Bitters
4 oz. Fun Wine’s Strawberry Rose Moscato
Serve on rocks

Miguel’s Colada
2 oz. Barcelo rum
Frozen pineapple or coconut
Fun Wine’s Coconut Chardonnay
Blend all ingredients until frosty and serve in a chilled glass
